A really powerful film from the Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies) for #FarmSafetyWeek. Farming is dangerous for so many reasons, not just because of the use of powerful machinery and interactions with livestock, but because a lot of farmers work alone. If you work in the ag industry, please take the time to watch this and think about how you could make small changes to protect yourself. #FarmSafety #FarmSafetyWeek #FarmSafetyFoundation #YellowWellies

Yesterday, #FarmSafetyWeek kicked off - a week of activity aimed at raising awareness, as well as changing behaviours and attitudes to farm safety.I mentioned in yesterday's post the old adage of "Oh, it won't happen to me", but as Stephanie Berkeley put so brilliantly below: we can't continue to rely on luck when luck has a habit of running out.Have a watch of the video below. It's 60 seconds of your day. It's incredibly impactful, and powerful.A bite from an insect, moving part of machinery, harvesters, vehicles - all every day equipment, but all that come with risks. Don't let your luck run out. Make sure you're following Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies) for more info#FarmSafety

This July marks the tenth anniversary of Farm Safety Week. As ever the campaign communicates a strong message, highlighting how suddenly and unexpectedly serious accidents can happen.Produced by the Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies), the campaign's hero video creative focuses on never knowing when your luck will run out. It serves as a reminder of the importance of always taking care and taking your time when living and working in a farm environment. The team behind Farm Safety Week have highlighted in their campaign blog (https://lnkd.in/e6qN9Bva) how they use their videos to communicate the key message and always challenge themselves to increase the number of video views year on year. Reaching the biggest possible audience helps ensure more people are influenced by the campaign and have an opportunity to consider what they can do to improve their attitudes and behaviours. As ever, it’s a hard, but important watch, so please do take a look and share it on your networks or with someone you feel would benefit from a cautionary reminder. You never know, your one small action could reach someone, stop them in their tracks and make them think.

Ever wonder what your comprehensive coverage does? Simply put, comprehensive coverage kicks in when you are not able to control damages that happen to your vehicle like a hit & run, hail or storm, or an animal running in front of you. Your policy will pay to repair the damages - up to the policy limits. It can be tricky figuring out if something falls under comprehensive coverage so if you have any questions, ask away! www.unity1stins.com
